Come along and watch short movies and a major climate change focussed feature film all powered by pedal power!
Taking place in the students union at the university this fun and interactive event will really show how hard the power stations have to work to make your film watching experience.
With short films starting at 5pm and the main feature film at around 6pm this event will take place in the middle floor of the building or the lecture theatre (0.51 upstairs)
More info on the film etc closer to the time here – https://www.facebook.com/bradfordstudentcinema?sk=events
Thats right... For March's Green Drinks in Bradford, to celebrate Climate Change Week, we are going to have a pub quiz on this topic.
Meet at the New Beehive Inn, from 6pm (Quiz at 7pm) and join in the usual Green Drinks banter and networking.....
More details, see www.greendrinks.org/bradford or email roland@shearwater.gb.com
Join the Aire Valley Bike Bus on your way to work. The 'bus' leaves Keighley at 7.20am, arriving at Centenary Square at about 8.15. Check the route and timetable on the website. We are hoping to have cycle tutors on the bus.
You are then invited to Culture Fusion (125 Thornton Road) for a quick tour and free breakfast (if you let us know in advance!).
BEES volunteers will be seeding the first floor wildflower meadow, and planting some trees, at Culture Fusion.
This is an exciting, and somewhat experimental project as we are not familiar with planting on 'green roof' substrates. We will watch with interest (and record progress on BEES website) to see how well the seeds germinate and grow.
All walks start on Otley Road at the start of the Public Footpath opposite the lay by near St James Church
