14 Oct 2009 - 20:30

Talk by Patrick Holden (Soil Association) at Bingley Arts Centre.

The current industrialised, globalised model of our food systems is deeply unsustainable. Against a background of climate change, resource depletion, population growth and urbanisation we urgently need to develop new models of food production and distribution systems which will ensure reliable access to sustainably produced staple foods.

Patrick Holden will discuss the key elements of such a food plan and how we can become directly involved in creating more secure and sustainable food systems.'
